Boramy Viguier was selected for the independent-designer program at GucciFest, the digital fashion and film festival scheduled for November 16–22. The Paris-based menswear designer was among 15 emerging names supported by Gucci for the event.
The program paired films from independent labels with Gucci’s seven-part presentation, Ouverture of Something That Never Ended. Gus Van Sant and Alessandro Michele co-directed the Gucci series.
For a fashion industry working around pandemic restrictions, the festival offered a screen-based presentation outside the usual runway timetable. Viguier’s participation placed his label alongside the other designers selected for the film program.
