“It was in 2003 when Alain Leber and I met at the studio of Louis Vuitton in Paris, where we worked alongside Fabrizio Viti. For about 6 years, we were sitting next to each other, we travelled together, ate together and most importantly became friends. I always admired his talent, designing chic Men’s shoes and for a long time I have been thinking about asking him to design the Men’s collection for AGS, but he was always too busy either working for LV where he stayed for 13 years or for Burberry in London. This year, finally, the time has come!” Christina Martini, Ancient Greek Sandals, Creative Director.

“I am so happy to be joining Ancient Greek Sandals as the Lead designer for Menswear. I love Christina’s work and what she represents. I hope to have brought a touch of inclusive masculinity in Christina’s feminine world of Ancient Greek.” Alain Leber, Ancient Greek Sandals, Head of Menswear Design.

For Summer 2024, Ancient Greek Sandals has completely revisited their Men’s Collection, looking into their strong heritage and delivering a merge of traditional and modern interpretation. This season, our craftsmanship is expressed through an offer of new structures, new functionalities as well as an important choice of materials and colors. A fine line has been drawn associating our iconic vegetal leathers with a rope, fabric or tapisserie to create the expression of poetique masculinity. Our collection of sandals, eclectic and universal, is aspiring to a man strongly rooted in time.
