PROJECT TRASHURE

After last seasons’ molded eco felt corset, worn recently by Gwen Stefani, we took the concept of creating couture from discarded textiles a step further.

RVDK joined forces with 3 Dutch sustainability pioneers for ‘Project Trashure’, working on our common goal to find creative, technical and circular solutions to make textile trash into treasures.

As a kick-off for this collaboration and as part of RVDK’s presentation during Paris Couture Week, we laser cut eco felt into chain links (#circulartextilechain) and assembled them by hand into a sculptural, cool, exciting and 100% sustainable couture statement.
