CHIARA BONI - MILAN FASHION WEEK
After several seasons in New York Chiara Boni makes a successful come back to Milan Fashion Week.
It was the magnificent show lady and actress Drusilla Foer who opened CHIARA BONI's show La Petite Robe with a dedicated performance to Charlie Chaplin's smile.
The bold colors and magical vibrations of an adventurous African journey influence the collection of Spring/Summer 2024 of Chiara Boni.
The famous designer, after numerous seasons of hosting her fashion show in New York, returned to show cast her collection in Milan. The image of a woman that Chaira Boni dresses is a globetrotting lady who arrives in the city after a trip into wild nature with a positive attitude, which is reflected in her elegant and joyful wardrobe. Choosing comfort without giving up maximum refinement, the woman who dresses Chiara Boni wears dresses and suits with flattering silhouettes, which enhance the female figure. The color palette of the collection is truly eye catching – it includes saturated shades of golden green, ink, orange juice and topaz in perfect balance with timeless midnight blue and black.
Maxi zebra prints, graphic interpretations of traditional tie-dye motifs and aggressive jaguar spots are the base of this collection, bringing an exotic touch to the collection.
The jersey materials that are often used by the famous designer are soft and slightly con-tentative, ultralight with a silky finish that reflects light. It is a well-known fact that the stretch materials by CHIARA BONI help to enhance curves, ensuring an elegant look.
Some models reveal a liquid effect: the perfect outfits of divine creatures that emerge with elegance leap from the waters. Stretch satin is used for draped dresses in different lengths. Taffeta mixes with jersey for dramatic dresses that reveal maxi sleeves and elegant cape-style details. While pajama-style suits featuring a mix & match of prints give off a casual vibe, the miniskirt combined with the fitted blazer with tailored shoulders reflects an urban cool style. In line with the feminine and glamorous soul of the brand, cascades of sequins and elegant mirror decorations get the right amount of sparkle. Gold leather platforms streamline the silhouette with elegance.
To complete the looks, bag brand BAD AT MATH created mini bags with maxi beads that recreate the prints. The fashion show was led by model Toni Garrn who opened the show and ANNE V who ended the show. A front row full of celebrities and influencers attended the fashion show that proved that the comeback to Milan of Chiara Boni was a real success.
