Juana Martin AW25/26 Is a Spiritual Couture Journey

JUANA MARTIN Fall/Winter 2025/26: “Fervor” – A Soulful Ode to Andalusia

When devotion walks the runway, you know it’s more than just a fashion show—it’s a statement. On July 8th, Juana Martin @juanamartinoficial unveiled her Fall-Winter 2025/26 couture collection, “Fervor,” on the official Paris Haute Couture calendar, and honestly? It was breathtaking.

The Spirit of Holy Week, Reimagined

With “Fervor,” Juana draws deep from the roots of Andalusian culture—particularly the intense, emotional rituals of Holy Week processions. You could almost feel the candlelight and hear the solemn hymns as models appeared in flowing silhouettes crafted from black ruán, a traditional fabric worn by “penitents.” These were garments soaked in symbolism: sacred figures, petal showers, and even echoes of cathedral ceilings and religious icons translated into couture.

A Dramatic Play in Black and White

Staying loyal to her signature palette, Martin worked mainly with black and white but added a twist—rich textures, dramatic volumes, and eye-catching embellishments. Think baroque gold accents, striking jewelry, and unexpected materials that turn heads and hold gazes. Each piece was a meditation on beauty, tradition, and presence.

Craftsmanship with Purpose

This isn’t just a show—it’s a cultural celebration. Martin’s dedication to honoring Andalusian artisanship is present in every stitch. Her creative team, including longtime collaborators Rafael Maqueda and Menchu Benítez, brought the vision to life with bold hair and makeup supported by ICON. Meanwhile, Francesca Bellavita added an extra spark with Italian-crafted footwear, and sponsors like Málaga de Moda and Plenitas underlined the power of Spanish talent on a global stage.

The Only Spanish Woman on the Haute Couture Calendar

Let’s pause for a second and appreciate this: Juana Martin is the only Spanish woman ever to be accepted into the official Paris Haute Couture calendar. She follows in the footsteps of legends like Balenciaga and Paco Rabanne. That’s history in motion—and this year, she received Spain’s Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts. Well deserved.

About Juana Martin

Juana Martin is known for her deep connection to Andalusian heritage and fearless approach to couture. Whether it’s reinventing religious iconography or celebrating the strength of women through powerful silhouettes, her work always carries a sense of pride, purpose, and artistic soul.

So, which of these intense, emotional, and absolutely divine looks would you wear if you could pick just one? Let us know under our Instagram post—and yes, we’re already dreaming about next season.
