RVDK FW25/26 Couture: The Call of the Wild

Paris Couture Week just got a whole lot wilder thanks to Ronald van der Kemp @ronaldvanderkemp, who launched his FW25/26 haute couture collection titled “The Call of the Wild.” And trust me—this is couture with a conscience.

A Wardrobe Rooted in Nature 🌱

Instead of slick fabrics straight off the rack, RVDK turns discarded scraps into runway masterpieces. Think plissé that mimics palm fronds, jackets patched from “trash” tech-toned taffeta, and embroideries that conjure up insect wings and tropical textures. Each piece feels like a poem—eco-friendly, soulful, and breathtakingly creative.

Cultural Collaboration at the Heart

What gives this collection its beating heart? A deep-rooted partnership with Brazilian artisans from the Amazon, led by muse Thayna Caiçara. Together, they infused traditional embroidery with indigenous richness, blending van der Kemp’s circular couture vision with age-old craftsmanship. The result: garments that speak of culture, community, and care.

Sustainability as Guidance

This isn’t a gimmick. RVDK has long been trailblazing circular fashion—and “The Call of the Wild” brings that ethos center stage. By upcycling and honoring hidden materials, van der Kemp reminds us that luxury can—and must—be about meaning, not just label.

Style That Transforms

Silhouettes wield bold drama—structured shoulders meet sweeping lines, textures clash yet harmonize. Vibrant hues and layered fabrics morph into wearable art. Each look feels alive, part couture, part ecological statement.

Brand Snapshot: Ronald van der Kemp
Founded in 2014, RVDK redefined sustainable couture—no new fabrics, zero compromise on elegance. His pieces deliver romance, rebellion, and respect, and his studio champions slow luxury and craftsmanship.

Why It Matters

Fashion doesn’t have to cost the planet. RVDK proves elegance survives—and thrives—when we give waste a second chance. It’s bold, it’s beautiful, it’s a love letter to artistry, nature, and the human soul.

What do you think? Which look from “The Call of the Wild” would you wear next season? Let us know in the comments under the IG post below—we’d love to hear your style pick!
