Miami-based MANISH VAID by Jsquad opened Friday with hand-embellished swimsuits and resort wear for men and women. Eastern aesthetic meets the West – that is how we could describe Manish. Eastern prints and embroidery was tastefully and appropriately used to make some unusual and exotic pieces. One- and two-pieces for the ladies with bright patterns and more traditional hues and embroidered details are sure to please. Dress-like swim outfits, or crossovers, also made an appearance and were amazingly fit for the runway and for the home pool – very versatile – that seemed to be the catchword of the day.
